English Language Courses in Vancouver

The Teenagers Abroad English program offers to high school students the following course options (A!-C1) for English Courses in Vancouver:

Standard English Classes

  • 4 group lessons daily
  • (15 hours per week)

Intensive English Courses

  • 6 group lessons daily
  • (22.5 hours per week)

The Standard Course generally takes place from 9:00 to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Students who choose the Intensive Course have 2 additional lessons focused on conversation from 13:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday.

Evaluation & Certificate

  • Majority of students take an online language test prior to commencing their programme, else on the first Monday of the programme.
  • Each student recieves an end-of course certificate.
  • Learning materials are provided to students on loan (weekly 10-20 EUR/CAD/GBP) throughout their course.

Activities & Excursions

There is a Welcome Party to get to know your classmates, barbecue, movie night, kayaking, picnic, sightseeing and shopping tours, and games.

A welcome party at a language school for teens is an essential part of creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. It helps break the ice and allows students to meet peers from different countries in a relaxed, informal setting.

Sports: Volleyball, tennis, football, fitness etc.

Many more activities available at a small surcharge.


Facilities

Crew & Supervision

Supervision by our trained Teamers.

Curfew is at 11:00 pm every day.

Students must return to their accommodation by or before the curfew time, unless they are participating in a tour or activity organized by the school, regardless of their age or circumstance.

No exceptions will be made!

Meals, allergies & dietary needs

Our schools boast of over 40 years of experience in catering with a variety of dietary needs.

Students are provided with breakfast, dinner and either a cooked or packed lunch.

Please let us know of any allergies/dietary requirements when making your booking. This information is given to the Teamers and the homestay (if needed).

Leisure Programme

With our comprehensive leisure programme, students have the opportunity to really discover their chosen destination.

A 2-week language course generally includes a big variety of activities + a day of excursion.

The students are also given some free time to socialise in the afternoons and evenings.


Travel & Arrival Information

Transfers

Please arrange arrival on Sunday and departure on Satrurday at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) from 9:00 - 21:00.

Unaccompanied minor service offered only if required by airline: (one way) + 150 CAD.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend a good medical insurance. You can purchase it on your own or book it with us.
