German Language Courses in Munich

The Teenagers Abroad German summer program offers high school students the following course options for German Courses in Munich. (A0/A1-C1)

Standard German Classes

  • 4 group lessons daily
  • (15 hours per week)

Intensive German Courses

  • 6 group lessons daily
  • (22.5 hours per week)

The Standard Course generally takes place from 9:00 to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Students who choose the Intensive Course have 2 additional lessons focused on conversation from 13:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday.

Evaluation & Certificate

  • Majority of students take an online language test prior to commencing their programme, else on the first Monday of the programme.
  • Each student recieves an end-of course certificate.
  • Learning materials are provided to students on loan (weekly 10-20 EUR/CAD/GBP) throughout their course.

Accommodations & Meals

Students participating in the German program will have a homestay at their disposal to stay comfortably.

Homestay

3 Bedrooms/2 Bedrooms + Full Board

By staying with the locals, students discover the customs and habits of their destination right from the start, sampling authentic local cuisine and discovering how the locals really live. Our friendly hosts are experienced in hosting international students and play an integral part in their learning experience.


Activities & Excursions

There is a Welcome Party to get to know your classmates, barbecue, karaoke, treasure hunts, international school parties, city tours, photo competitions, and games. A welcome party at a language school for teens is an essential part of creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. It helps break the ice and allows students to meet peers from different countries in a relaxed, informal setting.

Sports: beach volleyball, football, zumba, pool activities, fitness etc.

Many more activities available at a small surcharge.


Facilities

Supervision by our trained Teamers.

Curfew is at 11:00 pm every day.

Students must return to their accommodation by or before the curfew time, unless they are participating in a tour or activity organized by the school, regardless of their age or circumstance.

No exceptions will be made!

Meals, allergies & dietary needs

Our schools boat of over 40 years of experience in catering with a variety of dietary needs.

Students are provided with breakfast, dinner and either a cooked or packed lunch.

Please let us know of any allergies/dietary requirements when making your booking. This information is given to the Teamers and the homestay (if needed).

Leisure Programme

With our comprehensive leisure programme, students have the opportunity to really discover their chosen destination.

A 2-week language course generally includes a big variety of activities + a day of excursion.

The students are also given some free time to socialise in the afternoons and evenings.


Travel & Arrival Information

Transfers

Please arrange arrival on Sunday at Munich Franz Joseph Strauss Airport (MUC) from 10:00 - 19:00 and departure on Saturday from 08:00 - 17:00. Transfer from Munich main station is possible at any time.

Unaccompanied minor service offered only if required by airline: (one way) +150 EUR

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend a good medical insurance. You can purchase it on your own or book it with us.
